CTTC Training Modality

Depending upon the course subject matter, the instructor or presenting agency, and the scheduled date, CTTC training will be offered in one of three modalities to members:

  1. In-person Training – generally one or two-day courses where registrants meet in-person at a physical location for training, interaction, discussion, etc.

  2. Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) – not self-paced, VILT courses require the registrants to attend live online during set days and times for instructor led training. Although this is virtual training, each VILT course will be monitored via web camera for attendance and participation. Students are REQUIRED to sign-in on Zoom per instructions sent by the Course Instructor and attend the entire required time to receive a Certificate of Completion.

  3. Distance Learning – these courses are offered as entirely remote or a hybrid format where you might be required to attend on the start date, finish date, or both for a specific course. Generally, these courses are self-paced over a longer period of time which provides flexibility for completing the course work.

Class rules and requirements, as well as specific access and connection instructions and details will be shared with registrants prior to the course start date depending upon the course modality. Questions should be sent prior to your course start date to [email protected].
