Jennifer Ann Carr, Executive Director

Jennifer Ann Carr began working as CTTC’s Executive Director in June 2022 and brings over fifteen years of cross-sector nonprofit leadership and management experience to the organization. Carr’s most recent position was as the Chief Operations and Advancement Officer for Physicians for Social Responsibility Los Angeles. She has launched new development, communications and operations programs for several nonprofits focused on a wide array of issues including education, health, arts and the environment.

Dedicated to public service and civic engagement, Carr served as the chair of a local Vermont school board for five years and managed a successful political campaign that resulted in a new member being elected to the Vermont House of Representatives.

She holds an undergraduate degree from Northern Vermont University and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Marlboro College Graduate and Professional Studies. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach.

Monida Tor, Communications Coordinator

Graduating from California State University of Long Beach with a solid foundation in Graphic Design, Monida embarked on a journey that beautifully combines her artistic prowess with a deep commitment to social impact. Seamlessly integrating her skills into non-profit initiatives, she crafts compelling graphics and collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate complex concepts into visually engaging materials, resonating with diverse audiences while amplifying the voices of organizations striving to make a difference.

Aspiring to become a UX/UI designer, Monida's vision for the future extends even further, aiming to ensure that technology is not only visually appealing but also accessible to all. With an innate understanding of the power of design, she aspires to create digital experiences breaking barriers, connecting people, and paving the way for a more inclusive and empathetic world.
