Jennifer Ann Carr, Executive Director

Jennifer Ann Carr began working as CTTC’s Executive Director in June 2022 and brings over fifteen years of cross-sector nonprofit leadership and management experience to the organization. Carr’s most recent position was as the Chief Operations and Advancement Officer for Physicians for Social Responsibility Los Angeles. She has launched new development, communications and operations programs for several nonprofits focused on a wide array of issues including education, health, arts and the environment.

Dedicated to public service and civic engagement, Carr served as the chair of a local Vermont school board for five years and managed a successful political campaign that resulted in a new member being elected to the Vermont House of Representatives.

She holds an undergraduate degree from Northern Vermont University and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Marlboro College Graduate and Professional Studies. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach.

Jessica Rivas Acuna, Administrative Assistant

Jessica Rivas Acuña has over a decade of non-profit work experience in various fields. She received her bachelor’s degree in history from UC Santa Cruz and is working on completing the Heritage Conservation master’s program at USC.

Jessica has been working in the transportation and transit industry for the past four years within the California Community College system. She is enjoying learning more about the industry and the training side of things working at CTTC.
