Request for Proposals (RFP) Announcement: Electrical Series Development of Courses

The California Transit Training Consortium (CTTC) is excited to announce the release of RFP 2025-02 for the development of an Electrical Series of training courses. CTTC is seeking proposals from qualified colleges, private sector training developers, and transit agencies to design and develop a comprehensive training program specifically tailored for transit bus mechanics.

This initiative aims to create fiveElect distinct courses covering Electrical Fundamentals, Electrical Circuit Diagnosis, Powertrain Control and CAN, and Multiplex Systems (DINEX and VANSCO). The goal is to equip technicians with the essential skills and knowledge required to maintain and troubleshoot advanced technology buses effectively.

Key Dates:

• Pre-Proposal Meeting: September 12, 2024, at 11:00 AM PST via Zoom

• Questions Due: September 17, 2024, by 5:00 PM PST

• Proposal Submission Deadline: October 7, 2024, by 3:00 PM PST
