Course Description

This safety presentation will provide students with a good understanding of the ISE ThunderVolt™ TB42-HG (Transit Bus, 40-foot, Hybrid Gasoline) hybrid drive system. It is assumed the student will have a working knowledge of all basic conventional bus systems. Students shall keep in mind this presentation is intended to provide a general understanding of safety do’s and don'ts of working around high voltage hybrid drive system.

For safety reasons, we strongly discourage any attempt by untrained personnel to operate a bus equipped with the TB42-HG hybrid drive system.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:   This course is designed for all technicians and supervisors responsible for ISE Gasoline Hybrid vehicles. 
 Start Date                     (3-Hour Course: AM course and PM Course) 
 Start Time  9:00am-Noon   or   1:00pm to 4:00p  

 Each class limited to the first 10 registrations.  

 Specify which class (AM) or (PM) during registration. 

Course Fees

 All fees paid by FTA grant for Consortium Members.

 Non-members:  $160.00 payable at the time of registration.

Cancellations must be received 24 hours before the class otherwise the course fee will be charged. Substitutions allowed.
