Course Description

This safety presentation will provide students with a good understanding of the ISE ThunderVolt™ TB42-HG (Transit Bus, 40-foot, Hybrid Gasoline) hybrid drive system. It is assumed the student will have a working knowledge of all basic conventional bus systems. Students shall keep in mind this presentation is intended to provide a general understanding of safety do’s and don'ts of working around high voltage hybrid drive system.

For safety reasons, we strongly discourage any attempt by untrained personnel to operate a bus equipped with the TB42-HG hybrid drive system.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:   This course is designed for all technicians and supervisors responsible for ISE Gasoline Hybrid vehicles. 
 Start Date   Two Offerings:   

A)   June 21st & 22nd, 2012 (2-Day Course)  

B)   October 15th & 16th,  2012 (2-Day Course) 

 

 Start Time   7:00am to 3:30pm 

Course Fees

   Members:    This project was made possible by a grant from the Reformulated Gasoline Settlement Fund. Created as a result of an antitrust class action, the purpose of the Fund is to achieve clean air and fuel efficiency benefits for California consumers.

 Non-members:  $640.00 payable at the time of registration.

Proper Safety Gear must be worn at all times.   Failure to wear the proper safety equipment will result in cancellation.   

Cancellations must be received 24 hours before the class otherwise the course fee will be charged. Substitutions allowed.
